Fallon Wimberly: Assistant COach

Born and raised in Fuquay-Varina, my love for softball began at the age of seven. For a long time, softball has been more than a sport, it’s a passion and has helped shape me as a person. I played three years of varsity softball at Harnett Central High School, where I earned back-to-back Conference Pitcher of the Year honors.
Continuing my softball journey at Meredith College, I had the privilege of competing at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Nutrition. As a two-year team captain, I took pride in leading by example, both on and off the field. I pitched, played first base, and also filled the role of designated player, earning all-conference and all-region honors.
After graduating from Meredith College, I soon started a Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Campbell University.
Softball has given me so much—it taught me the value of resilience, teamwork, and leadership. “Heart” and “discipline” were the two words that powered my career, and they are the values I strive to instill in the next generation of female athletes. I am passionate about giving back to the sport that gave me so much as a female athlete, and I am committed to creating opportunities for the next generation to grow, compete, and thrive. My goal as a coach is not only to help players develop their skills on the field, but also to inspire young female athletes to carry the life lessons they learn on the field into every aspect of their lives.
